The Second Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Corridor Towns Development Project represents the second phase of the ongoing GMS corridor towns development initiative and is implemented in seven towns in Cambodia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), and Viet Nam.

The outputs of the project are:
Updated national GMS Urban Development Strategy for each of the three countries
Strategic local economic development plan (SLEDP) for each town included in the PPTA, and determination of an investments projects priority list in the fields of water, sanitation, drainage, flood control, solid waste, urban roads, recreational areas, street lightning
Feasibility study for each town and every priority project : technical, economic, financial, institutional, environmental, social, resettlement and gender approaches, and procurement plan
