To reinforce and secure a long-term cooperation between the two organisations, the directors of the
KERAN group and the
BRGM (Bureau de recherches géologiques et minières) have signed a three-year framework agreement.
Building on their complementary activities, the
BRGM, national geological survey, and KERAN,
specialised in urban planning and the environment,
have identified four potential areas of joint intervention :
soils, groundwater, natural
groundwater, natural hazards, especially coastal and post-mining.
Signed on 31
th August by Yves Gillet, President of the Keran group, and Michèle Rousseau, CEO of BRGM, the agreement will lead to regular meetings of a strategic steering committee to identify potential synergies.
The complementary expertise of the two organisations could lead to joint projects, the development of new products and concepts, or collaboration on international opportunities.
The Partnership has been signed for three years and may be renewed in the future.
